After my 14-year career in healthcare, I changed direction - using my knowledge to help others succeed with copywriting and marketing strategies. I have 12 years of experience in training and leading an amazing network of healthcare professionals for two very different companies and across multiple states. I’ve faced the many battles of the corporate pharmacy world and prioritizing patient care while exceeding ever-increasing corporate demands (i.e., people in suits who knew nothing about healthcare). I eventually moved out of the corporate circus and transitioned into a more meaningful workplace. My heart went into our small-town independently owned pharmacy, the wonderful team of healthcare professionals within its walls, and the community I served every day. I quickly grew into my duties, constantly took on more responsibilities, and wore many hats. I developed teams of multiple positions across several locations, established standardized policies and procedures, researched the newest and best point-of-care services, tested and collaborated with CBD and supplement companies across the nation, established contracts with wholesalers, reviewed third-party insurance audits and Pharmacy Benefits Managers (PBMs) Provider Manuals and billing requirements, stayed up to date on industry standards, and relayed information across our network of 60+ member pharmacies.


I loved the fast-paced, always-multitasking, putting-out-twenty-fires-at-once, crazy work environment because of who I worked with and the people we got to help every day. (And maybe also because I’m just a little bit crazy). I thrived in leadership and found purpose in being a valuable resource for so many. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t warm my heart to still receive messages from previous coworkers and patients appreciative of the ways I’ve helped them over the years.
